Social Work Department

The Social Work Department provides support and counselling to help you and your family cope with your illness at a personal and social level.

Social Workers are involved with support groups in the Hospital and can also put you in touch with groups, organisations and services around the country. Advice is also given on benefits and entitlements, assistance with some financial and practical problems, discharge planning and after Hospital care.
