St. Luke’s Institute of Cancer Research, the research arm of St. Luke’s Hospital, was established in 1992 to undertake research activity in the field of cancer prevention, treatment, care and cure.
The main objectives of the Institute are:

to fulfil the research role of St. Luke’s Hospital;

to support research in a broad spectrum of clinical practice
including therapeutic, diagnostic and laboratory work;
-
to foster an environment for the training of young cancer researchers;
-
to develop and encourage relationships through collaborative work
with other academic and research institutes.
