Oncology Resource Centre (ORC)
Location Past the Chapel and adjacent to the Clinical Trials Unit and SLICR offices.
Opening Hours
Monday - Friday:
9.00 am – 4.45 pm
Late night openings twice a week from Sept - June
The ORC is open to all St. Luke’s Hospital staff and students on placement or attending courses in St. Lukes.
ORC/Library services available to hospital staff include:
- Access to a range of online databases such as CINAHL, MEDLINE, PubMed, Cochrane.
- Access to online journals via ORC’s A – to – Z Journal List.
- Training Sessions on the use of our online journals/databases
- Reference and enquiry service to answer user queries
- Book lending services. The ORC collection can be searched from the ORC Catalogue available from the St. Luke’s Intranet. (Internal Access only)
- Access to reference material including journals and newspapers
- Inter-Library Loan/Document Supply Service
- Current Awareness Service
- Literature Searching
- Photocopying
