Catering
Welcome to St Lukes Hospital Catering Department.
The Catering Department provides food services to all patients at ward level: as day patients and in the Oakland Lodge and to staff, outpatients and visitors.
The department also operates both the main Restaurant and the Highfield Café, both of which are available to staff, outpatients and visitors.
Our Objectives:
To provide excellence in both food and service to our customers. We endeavour to meet all the individual food requirements of our customers. These may be therapeutic and special diets for patients or dishes required of our multi-ethnic customer base.
Our Restaurant:
The Restaurant provides a full self-service menu for staff and visitors. We provide a wide variety of choice such as carvery, full salad bar, healthy options, vegetarian options and snacks. Evening meals are on a pre order basis, arranged at the Restaurant before 4pm.
Restaurant Opening Hours:
Monday-Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm
(Lunch facilities in the restaurant for Visitors and Outpatients
are available only from 1.30pm to 2.00pm)
Saturday & Sunday 9am to 2.30pm
The Highfield Café:
The Highfield Café is an assisted service area, providing a variety of sandwiches, pastries, snacks and homemade soups. -Payment is by cash for all transactions.
Café Opening Hours:
Monday - Thursday 9am to 5.15pm
Friday 9am to 4.15pm
